Summer Camp 2026

The American summer camp program is an epitome of almost every American children’s summer adventure. During the months of June-Aug, Americans send their children from as young as 6 years old to overnight summer camps that last as long as 2-7 weeks. The Summer Camp is regarded as a “must-do”, “get the kids off gadgets and technology”, and “the perfect place for children to build resilience, learn life skills, and help children to optimize their psychosocial development”.

The summer camp at Camp MAE is a 1-week overnight camp where children get to enjoy the outdoor nature and environment and engage in fun-filled activities that are both educational and life-changing for the children.  Following an organized and structured itinerary, the summer camp at Camp MAE offers a variety of activities, from baking classes to arts and crafts to a huge range of sports activities that children can choose from.  This structured schedule is developed to encourage children to be disciplined and to learn boundaries.  The main concept behind this long summer camp program is to encourage children to develop independence skills – to be away from the comfort of their home and learn to take care of themselves.  Our summer camp encourages children to pick up different life-skill sets like developing teamwork and learning to work with a group of people to complete a task; develop one’s leadership skills; build one’s problem solving skills and critical thinking skills; encourage children to learn about responsibilities and build one’s resilient, giving them the ability to adapt to our fast changing world; build one’s socialisation skills and learn the basic concept of “compromise” and “give and take” while living with a group of different children with different culture and background.

At Camp MAE, our daily schedule encompasses a variety of activities that are physically, mentally, and socially challenging.  During the morning session, children choose from a list of available activities that they want to do on a daily basis, and these activities are either done in a group or individually. These activities change daily to encourage children to try and learn as many new things as possible. During the afternoon session, there will be team challenges whereby children team up to complete tasks and challenges that are given to them.  We finish off the day with activities like campfire, games night, or movie night to encourage children to socialize and promote bonding time with one another.  This is the best time for children to make new friends and to learn more about each other.

Accommodation:
Children will be staying in dormitories and chalets with beds and bedding.

For dormitories, each dorm will be able to fit 20 people. We typically put 17-18 kids in each dorm with 2-3 facilitators to assist and guide them.  The dorms come with ensuite bathrooms and toilets.  Males and females will be in separate dorms

For chalets, each chalet is able to fit 5 pax.  We will put 4 kids in each chalet with 1 facilitator to assist and guide them. Each chalet also comes with an ensuite bathroom and toilet.

The children will be provided 4 meals a day (breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner), and there will be plenty of healthy snacks that children can snack on throughout the day.  If there are any children who are not well during camp, we will place them in a sick bay and will provide the necessary care to them.  If there’s any emergency, the facilitators will call you to explain the situation and the next course of action.

Eagle Ranch Resort is in an enclosed area that is gated and guarded, located by the beach, and it also has its own private access to the beach.  There are plenty of facilitators and guards that are supervising the whole vicinity, hence the place is extremely safe.  We do not encourage children to bring their mobile phones or any valuable items.  If you wish to check on your child or talk to them, you may contact Beverley (+6012-2094262) or our MAE phone line (+601127758056) at any time to check on your child, but please try not to call during bedtime so as to avoid waking up the children.

We are most certain that your child will have a wonderful time at Camp M.A.E. and they will most definitely bring back a memorable and happy experience back to you.

See you at the Camp!
